Zidane reacts to Neymar's transfer to Real Madrid

Reports has it that  Brazilian superstar Neymar may join Real Madrid instead of of FC Barcelona, as  Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has reacted to reports that the 13-time UEFA Champions League winners is on the verge of signing the Brazilian.

The Brazil international has made it clear that he wants a move away from Paris Saint-Germain before the end of the transfer window and reports also has it that PSG has removed all traces of Neymar in their club store which is a confirmation that they are willing to offload him.

 

When asked to comment on the transfer issue surrounding Neymar Jnr, Zidane admitted there are various possibilities from now till the end of the LaLiga transfer window on 2 September.

"Neymar is not (in our squad) but until 2 September, anything can happen," he said, according to Sky Sports 

"We're with the squad that we have, and we're only thinking about that."

Further reports have suggested that Barcelona’s hierarchy are set to meet with PSG chiefs this Tuesday to actually discuss Neymar’s transfer and the Spanish club are prepared to offer Philippe Coutinho as part of the transfer deal as it has become obvious that they want to offload Coutinho by all means possible. Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has been known to be an admirer of Neymar and has tried unsuccessfully to buy the 27-year-old on a number of occasions previously.

However according to this report by Metro , Messi has now intervened in the matter by calling Neymar to advise him against moving to Madrid.
